Priscilla is an east coast native, born and raised in a small town on the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. At a young age she was certain of two things; her undeniable need to get out of her small town in NH and her passion for movement. Priscilla’s love for aerial acrobatics began at a young age, constantly cartwheeling and hand standing around her front yard until her mother finally put her in gymnastics at the late age of 13 years old.
She continued on for the next 5 years of her life as a competitive gymnast and coach. Her gymnastics career unfortunately came to a stop when she went off to college at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. While in college, Priscilla struggled to find a workout routine that enticed her constant desire to be anything but ‘right side up.’ After countless attempts at fitness classes such as crossfit, spinning, zumba and a number of other failed workout routines, she found herself trying something completely out of her comfort zone; pole dance.
Priscilla stepped into her first pole dancing class while living in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2015 and has been addicted ever since. She also began Aerial Silks at the same time and trained both multiple days each week. After poling for a little under a year, she competed in an amateaur competition in Buenos Aires where she took first place. The following year, she moved back to the US and began taking classes at Polestars, a local studio in Miami. Less than a year after moving to Miami in 2017, she was offered a position teaching pole and aerial (silks + aerial hoop) at Polestars and her passion for teaching was reignited. She continued her pole education in 2018 by attending International Pole Convention and received her Xpert Pole Fitness certification. This motivated her to finally follow her dreams of pursuing a full time career as a pole artist and aerialist. With a bit of anxiety and a lot of excitement, she quit her mundane day job, sold all of her belongings, packed her car and drove across the country to LA. Priscilla initially began teaching at Sadie’s Pole Studio in Redondo Beach, where her LA debut began. She taught a variety of different classes at Sadies including Pole levels 1-4, Choreography, Aerial Silks, Flexibility, HIIT circuit classes, and private lessons. Alongside teaching, Priscilla continued learning and attending various workshops throughout LA, competing in 3 competitions (PPC’19 – First place L4 championship, Exotic Generation’19 – 3rd place Groups, and PSO Virgo Virtual’20 – 3rd place L5 Artistic), and performing both pole dance and aerial in a variety of different shows, festivals, music videos, and private events. She was contracted with two different Aerial performance troupes; Aerial Butterflies and the Aerialogists and at the end of 2019 began her own Aerial Troupe with 3 other talented women called CirqueLunaire.
At the beginning of 2020, Priscilla began her fire dancing journey, starting with fire eating and palm torches, which quickly escalated into contact staff, fire fans and fire triads. She was featured in the music videos “Good to be Bad” by Talii, “Speed it Up” by CadetKo, and was a special guest duet performer for the show “Talento, Tengo Mucho Talento.” When the global pandemic hit, she began her online teaching business, offering a variety of pole choreography, pole tricks and flexibility classes and at the end of 2020, she began teaching in person group pole and aerial classes at Embody Alternative Fitness in Long Beach. In 2021, she was featured in the music videos “Call Up” by Thaslegend and “Perflection” by Alray and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She also performed at Untz Music and Arts festival, The Desert Underground Festival, Same Same but Different Festival and many more.
In March of 2022, Priscilla completed her 200YTT in Panama and became a certified Yoga Instructor. She was contracted with many different residencies (KarnEvil Hollywood, MainRo Hollywood, Killer Shrimp, and La Conde Restaurant), performed at 6 festivals (Lucidity Festival, Stagecoach Festival, Lightning in a Bottle Festival, Joshua Tree Festival x 2, and Burning Man and traveled all around the US and internationally to perform at various events.
At the beginning of 2023, Priscilla was booked as a pole dancer to tour with world famous DJ/Producer, Diplo, performed a full 15 minute aerial and fire stage show at Envision Festival in Costa Rica, traveled around California hosting her Flying Pole workshops, all while continuing to perform at her regular residencies in LA and teaching her weekly classes.
